Amber Davies won Love Island in 2017 alongside then-boyfriend Kem Cetinay.
And while their romance didn’t work out, Amber Davies has revealed that she’s never short of offers from the opposite sex, admitting the likes of England footballer Jesse Lingard has ‘slid into her DMs [direct messages]’ before she found fame.
In addition, she also revealed that Love Island newbie Sam Bird had previously been guilty of the same, before he entered this year’s Hidden Hills villa.
The 22-year-old reality star was appearing on Monday’s Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp alongside pal Olivia Attwood when she admitted that the football star and the personal trainer had tried to get in contact with her before her time on the dating show.
During the radio show, she hinted that a football star had been in touch. When she was shown a photo of Lingard, Roman replied: ‘Amber you just gave me a REALLY big face – did Jesse Lingard slide into your DMs?’
Amber coyly replied of the athlete – who scored in Sunday’s 6 -1 victory over Panama – ‘he might have slid into my DMs’.
She said the same of newbie Sam, who is currently coupled with Samira Mighty on the show.
‘He slid into my DMs before you know,’ she teased. ‘It was before I went on Love Island, we just were, like, briefly chatting and then I went on Love Island and now he’s on Love Island.’
The petite TV star showcased her lithe frame in a beige mini dress as she arrived to Global studios in London earlier in the morning.

The figure-flaunting number highlighted her slender pins and drew attention to her fluffy pink sliders as she walked to the venue with her nude tote in hand.
The Lorraine contributor worked her trademark brunette locks into a tousled wave while she wrapped up in a lightwash denim jacket.
Meanwhile, her revelation comes after she warned fellow Love Island hopeful Dani Dyer, who is currently paired up with Jack, that her ‘no sex’ vow will be difficult to maintain.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 live’s Afternoon Edition in May, the Welsh beauty, who won last year’s series with now ex beau Kem, insisted that Dani and the new contestants have no idea how quickly feelings develop in the ‘intense’ villa.
Already two couples – Megan and Eyal as well as Laura and Wes – have done the deed and Amber confessed that contestants shouldn’t go into the Hidden Hills villa making promises they can’t keep.
She said: ‘No-one’s been in this situation. You’re locked in this villa for eight weeks. We were in for six, they’re in for an extra two weeks.
‘You’re in a very intense environment, it’s alien. You have no entertainment, no social media, no music… It’s just you and this person.
‘You have no idea how much your feelings can develop so quickly,’ she added. ‘Horizontal gymnastics is natural when you fancy someone. So we just have to wait and see, I think.’
