MY NUMEROUS PROJECTS HAS PANICKED MY OPPONENTS- MCE.

emelia ankomaThe Municipal Chief Executive of Upper Denkyira East in the Central Region, Emilia Ankomah has stated that her critics and political opponents are terrified because of the massive developments she has done in the municipality.
She said this in an interview on a Pink FM News when she was responding to an accusation of a group in her municipality known as Concerned youth of Upper Denkyira East.
The group had accused the MCE of abusing incumbency and her office by distributing mathematical sets branded with her images and colors of the ruling National Democratic Congress to candidates of this year’s upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination.
The group believes, this is a ploy by the MCE to indirectly campaign and sell her self to the electoral populates in order to increase her fortunes in this year’s general elections.
But the MCE responding to this accusation described it ad unfounded but admitted that she distributed the mathematical sets in her capacity as a parliamentary candidate but not MCE.
“Yes I distributed the mathematical sets…but I did that in the capacity ad a parliamentary candidate…the source of funding is not from the assembly” she disclosed.
But a leading member of the group, Isaac Obeng who also spoke to PINKNEWS accused the MCE of engaging in illegal mining and directing funds from the assembly for her own perusal. He also added that the MCE has under performed.
But the MCE, Emilia Ankomah who has the conviction that the group has a political agenda disclosed to PINKNEWS that her critics are doing that because they have realized the massive development projects she has undertaken three years after her assumption into office ad the MCE.
“They are only getting afraid because of the development projects I have undertaken..their MP has been in parliament for twelve years but can’t boast of even a single project” she added.
The firebrand politician who promised to release a copy of the list of projects she has undertaken sent this document below to support her argument.
