2018 World Cup qualifier: Black Stars to wrap up preparations in Dubai today

The Black Stars will wrap up their preparations today in Dubai for Sunday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Alexandria.

The team opened camp in the United Arab Emirates on Monday but started field work the following day.

Head coach Avram Grant and his technical team were expected to hatch the tactical plan for the impending assignment.

This was confirmed by his assistant coach Maxwell Konadu in Accra before their departure.

”This time around, I think 80 and 90 percent [of our work]will be tactical because we’ve seen the Egyptians,” Konadu told Accra-based Joy FM.

”We have watched their tapes, we know their players – the injured ones and those who are fit. We know everything about them.

”We only have to go there and put one or two tactics in place and hope that it works on the day.”

There are no injury concerns for the team after three days of training in Dubai.
