A multi-sector international exhibition has been launched in Accra on 25th July, 2018, to bring together various players across the globe who are interested in African market and as well as to learn about business opportunities in Ghana.
Launching the exhibition which is scheduled for September 6 – 8, at the Ghana International Trade Fair, Prince Hari Crystal, the Managing Director of Exhibition Masters, said most of the companies partaking in this year’s exhibition at the Fair would be looking out for new franchises, great partnerships, striking new agreements, as well as setting up production plants in the country.
He said, last year’s exhibition paved way for many Ghanaian companies who are already doing great in their businesses, and was optimistic that this year’s event will create a greater platform for businesses.
However, Mr. Hari Crystal commended the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Works and Housing, Ministry of Roads and Highways, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, and the Ministry of Information for accepting to support this year’s international exhibition Fair.
Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry in charge of trade, Carlos Ahenkorah, noted that, the exhibition was timely as the government had prioritized the creation of jobs for the teaming unemployed youth in the country.
The High Commissioner of India to Ghana, Birender Singh Yadav, noted that his country was excited to partner Ghana in the areas of the exhibition, and said about 65 Companies from India would be participating in this year’s exhibition.
The exhibition, which is expected to bring together industry players from more than 15 countries with companies, in the areas of energy, construction, mining, roads, and automobile is under the auspices of the Indian High Commission in Ghana and the Federation of Indian Export Organizations with Turkey, and under the organization of FairAct, VeriFair and Exhibition Masters.
