QUEEN MOTHER CONSOLES OTUMFUO, ASANTEMAN AS SHE MOURNS ASANTEHEMAA

The Queenmother Naa Yeboaa III and elders of Oshiyie a suburb in the greater Accra region has mourned Asantehemaa and sent a consolation note to the entire Ashanti kingdom.

Speaking to the media in a gathering today the queen mother Naa Yeboaa III sent her deepest condolence to the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II quoting from the scriptures thus Revelation 21:4 which reads “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

“I and my elders wish to attend the funeral but we also having some land litigation to deal with, I therefore urge all Ghanaians and the Asanteman to take heart because God knows best.To the great king Otumfuor, in times of trouble, sing the Methodist hymnal 427 …..Finally all queen mother’s should emulate the lifestyle of the late Nana Afia Serwa Kobi Ampem II” She said.
