Progressive People’s Party parliamentary aspirant for Klottey Korle constituency Eva Lokko is dead.
An official of the party Richmond Keelson confirmed her passing away but without further details.
Until her sudden demise Mrs Lokko was a vociferous and a very active female politician and was thus named as the running mate to the Progressive People’s Party(PPP), Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom in the 2012 elections.
However, in order to secure a seat in parliament, the PPP had made her run as the parliamentary candidate in their stead in the Korley Klottey Constituency in the Greater Accra Region in this year’s upcoming general elections.
